Pop the champagne! ? If you’re reading this, it means my website is finally live (and working ?) and I am doing the dang thing! So glad you showed up. It means more than you know!
To start, let’s get a few things straight. Consider this the DTR (Define the Relationship) talk between you, me and this thing called a blog.
Planner. Doer. Occasional blogger. Don’t get that order twisted! My main mission is to plan + do awesome weddings and events and help people win their biggest days. Because most of my time as planner + doer is spent behind the scenes, I picked up the occasional blogger hat to let you in on the not often seen, the small but mighty details and the answers you didn’t know you needed. So let this stand as an open invite to come along for the ride!
This is my playground for telling stories, sharing experiences, stirring up inspiration and dishing out truth nuggets that I hope will help you thrive at your wedding, in your marriage and in life.
You can expect to see 70-ish percent weddings, 30-ish percent other. I have a few main buckets for “other” but I am not going to be ruled by them. My heart for this blog is to help people, not to fit into a box or check one. I will also not ignore all of the other roles I play outside of wedding planner that make me Erin Rosine – wife, sister, friend, daughter, aunt, business owner, Jesus follower, etc. This all goes to tell you to not be surprised if you see a post about the ideal wedding party size, when I invited Jesus into the bedroom, the top five summer cocktails and when to send your wedding invites all in the same week.
Around here, it’s going to be always real, sometimes messy + awkward, never lacking purpose. My prayer is for these keys to be spirit-led and truth-fed.
Can’t wait to see where this thing goes or who it touches! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’ll come back. At the very least, you should get some decent entertainment and lots of wedding inspo.
Dotted & Crossed,
